Beijing Jiangxi Grand Hotel, Beijing

My stay at the hotel was a mix of comfort and inconvenience. The room, equipped with a lovely and very comfortable king-size bed, was spacious and quiet, but the twin beds were indeed uncomfortably hard.

The hotel is located in a less than salubrious area, approximately 30 minutes outside of the city center. The rooms were dated but suitable for our stay, offering a range of amenities. The staff had varying levels of English proficiency but provided necessary services like car hire and tour assistance.

The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms come with the convenience of being able to boil water for coffee, but they were extremely cold at night. On the bright side, there is a separate lounge room, and the availability of a kettle for a proper cup of coffee is a nice touch.
